Tomorrow’s promise

I owe a belated thank you to Cheryl Fassett at Catching Fireflies, a fellow writer and cat lover, who bestowed upon me the Lovely Blog and Inspiring Blog award. Show her some love and visit her blog.
As part of these awards I’m supposed to share 7 things about myself. So, here it goes.
1) I am one of those people that gets fixated on a song and listens to it over and over.
2) I cannot do origami, not matter how hard I try
3) I make awesome meatballs
4) I don’t eat brussels sprouts
5) I did actually break my toe tripping over my own Tevas
6) Unlike most classical musicians, I never tire of Bolero or Leroy Anderson
7) My voice sounds just like the # key, which does interesting things during conference calls.
I never know who views these memes as a blessing or as a curse, so I’ll just name some of my favorite peeps, and give them a shout out.

All of you deserve any and all badges that exist. If you want them, they are yours. If you don’t, know that I think you are awesome. You rock.

First of all, love that picture. Second, “today’s turmoil is tomorrow’s blog post,” if you ask me. Third, congratulations! You deserve it. Fourth, I already follow a few of those blogs, including Cheryl. You’ve got good taste, my friend…
Well, Jeannine – I love the haiku and the photo just fits so well. It’s right along the lines of the (many) snaps I’ve been capturing these past weeks wandering the river- and ocean-side of Massachusett’s Southcoast. Evocative and familiar. Thank you for that. Thanks, too, for your wonderful 7 facts. I, too, find Bolero to catch me up each time I hear it. And finally, thanks for the shout-out. Profound and thoughtful . . . I’ll take it
You, too, are awesome. Rock on!!!
YOU rock. Thanks so much, friend.
You do rock! Your motherhood haiku poems are my favorite. As a mom, I can definitely relate!!
Thank you so much!! It’s so nice to know that someone out there likes what I do!!
<3 THANK YOU!! <3
Thanks so much, Jeannine, for the recognition and the honor. And I can certainly sympathize with a few of your “secrets,” since I share a few of them.
This award was totally unexpected as I return from several days away. Thank you again.
