So true. It’s always better to put something down on the page than nothing.
Nonfiction writing comes relatively easily to me. I think that’s why I gave up writing fiction. Realizing that first drafts usually aren’t awesome is the biggest thing that now keeps me writing my first novel since I had decided I was bad at it.
